This product includes a pair of 48" crossbars made of heavy duty steel tube for strength and safety. It also comes with 4 PC 1/4" x 2" screw and 4 PC 1/4" lock nut. The crossbars are adjustable in position and can be easily installed in minutes and disassembled in seconds. It is important not to over tighten during installation.

The 1800 lbs ratchet tie down ensures that the roof bar will remain firmly on top of your car. It is important to be cautious not to over tighten. Three adjustable hooks are included on each side, and the straps go through the door frames to attach the rack on top of the roof.

This product is suitable for most four door cars without side rails, as well as for most four door cars with side rails which are less than 6.4 cm in height from the roof. However, it will not fit two door cars.

The installation process is as follows: Step 1: Connect - Insert the polyester strap into the spindle slot and pull the strap through, up, and back to take up any slack. Step 2: Tighten - Securely tighten the tie-down strap by repeatedly pressing down and pulling up on the ratchet handle. Step 3: Release - Pull the handle up and over to the open flat position to give the strap slack and allow for easy removal or adjusting. Step 4: Remove - Pull the strap up to loosen and then slip the strap out of the ratchet.

Please note that the straps go through the door frames and attach the rack on top of the roof, and it is not suitable for use on two door cars. The load capacity for this product is 170 pounds. It is important to ensure that it fits your vehicle before making a purchase.
